Phillip Sanders
Founder & Chief Executive OfficerEntrepreneur, HSE leader, and hands-on product builder with more than 20 years of field-safety and operational experience. Phillip created EHS Command Plus from the ground up—shaping its product architecture, field-safety workflows, WellCore document-intelligence process, user experience, and AI-assisted capabilities. He also created the platform’s proprietary AI feature layer—its EHS-specific prompts, workflow rules, review controls, document-intelligence experience, and product integrations—while keeping accountable human review at the center. Phillip leads the company’s product vision and technology direction, translating real operating needs into practical software for the field and the office.
Mercedes Sanders
Co-Founder & Chief Operating OfficerMercedes Sanders is an entrepreneur and senior human resources and organizational leader with experience in workforce strategy, employment compliance, employee relations, organizational development, business operations, and corporate administration.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Texas A&M University–San Antonio and a Master of Science in Human Resources and Employment Relations from Penn State. She is currently pursuing a Juris Master in Employment Law & Risk Management at Florida State University College of Law.
As Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of EHS Command Plus, Mercedes oversees internal operations, organizational infrastructure, workforce strategy, compliance, and corporate administration. As a member of the leadership team, she plays an integral role in building the systems, processes, and operational foundation that support the company’s responsible growth and long-term success.
